As Salaamu alaikum and Hello there!
My name is Shawwal and I am 15 years old. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to do great things in my life. I have recently been chosen to represent South Africa in the Judo Commonwealth games to be held in Birmingham, England between 24th to 29th September 2019 doing the sport I love called Judo.
I started judo at age 7 not knowing what I was doing, lol. I’ve grown to become the number one ranked player in my age and weight group in South Africa.
My gratitude cannot be shown enough for my support system. My Aunts and Uncles a, my grandmother, family and friends, my Coach Katja Bruwer, especially my Mum Fatima Bagaria. They’ve all helped me make my dream come true to become an amazing sportswoman and academically fit.
I am also a student and I am an academic with a dream to become a Veterinarian when I am older.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could contribute at least minimum of R2/km on my journey to Judo commonwealth games.
Thank you, Jezakallah
