
MY DAADI’s MASALA CHICKEN
One chicken cut into pieces
For the marinade
2 tablespoons red chillie/masala paste
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
Half tablespoon crushedginger
1teaspoon salt Add more to taste
1teaspoon arid/tumeric
1 tablespoon crushed dry dhana/coriander
Juice of half lemon
1 tablespoon paprika
Two tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon whole jeeroo
A stick of cinnamon
Method
Mix all the above ingredients and marinate the chicken with it. Allow to marinate for at least an hour. Its best to marinate overnight.Add some ghee to a pot. When ghee is hot add marinated chicken. Cook on medium heat until its doneSteam baby onions and baby potatoes and add to the chicken when the chicken is almost done.Cook peas in some butter, add salt and black pepper and serve on the side of the chickenEnjoy!!!
